Electric Aircraft Tested in Örnsköldsvik via Simulator in Malmö

In December 2024, LFV conducted a key validation as part of the ongoing research project Electric Aviation in Sweden. The validation, carried out at LFV’s simulator facility in Sturup, explored how electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft can integrate with conventional aviation operations.

The project is a significant step towards fossil-free air travel, ensuring safe and efficient integration of next-generation aircraft into Swedish airspace. SVT covered the test, bringing further attention to Sweden’s role in advancing sustainable aviation.
