5,000 Electric Aircraft Operations Completed at Skellefteå Airport

Skellefteå Airport has reached a major milestone with 5,000 take-offs and landings of electric aircraft, reinforcing its status as a pioneer in sustainable aviation. This achievement is part of the airport’s commitment to green aviation technology and fossil-free air travel solutions.

The airport continues to collaborate with industry partners to expand electric aviation infrastructure, supporting Sweden’s goal of a carbon-neutral aviation sector by 2045.
